Jillian boards and trains service dogs at the Creating New Tails location in Margate, Florida. It takes about 70 hours of training per month, depending on the dog and the service needed. Each dog is trained for about 8-12 months. By the time the dog is ready for you, it will make a seamless transition into her clients’ homes.
Full-Service Dog Training and Boarding Needs at Creating New Tails
Creating New Tails, accredited by the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT) and the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP), boards and trains non-service dogs as well. With her clients’ needs in mind, she trains dogs on site for all practical situations, both indoors and outdoors. Length of board and training can vary from ten to 28 days. Skalky provides basic obedience, advance obedience, Canine Good Citizen Training, and competitive training as well. In addition, private sessions that last one hour can be provided at your home. Private sessions included training for public access, basic and advance obedience, Canine Good Citizen Training, and service dog commands that are passed from trainer to dog owner. Overnight Boarding, Doggy Daycare, and even Lake Training Sessions are also available. “My dog, Rosie taught me to always live in my joy, live in my passion, and love as she does,” Skalky says. “Together we found our purpose and this is my mission in life.”
