A Service Dog helps individuals with limitations live a normal life with a sense of independence they deserve.

Board and Train
(Service Dog)

Our fully immersive Service Dog Training Program takes place on-site at Creating New Tails, where your dog will receive expert, personalized care and instruction.

Your dog will participate in approximately 60–70 hours of hands-on training per month, with the full program typically lasting 8 to 12 months, depending on your dog’s unique needs and the specific service tasks being taught.

Throughout their stay, your dog will receive 24/7 care, including: Daily play and enrichment, Regular exercise, Balanced feeding routines, Basic grooming and health checks.

Once training is complete, we don’t stop there. We provide post-graduation transition sessions to help you and your service dog continue working as a team—ensuring a smooth adjustment into home life and long-term success.

Lake Sessions

Give your dog a unique training experience with our Lake Sessions—a fun, enriching way to build confidence and skill in the water.

Led by professional trainer Jillian, your dog will be safely transported to a private, enclosed lake where they’ll enjoy structured water time in a secure environment. Whether your goal is recreational swimming, competitive dock diving, or simply helping your dog become more comfortable around water, these sessions are tailored to meet their needs.

Each Lake Session includes: Round-trip transportation, Personalized instruction for swimming or dock diving, A post-lake bath to ensure your pup returns home fresh and clean.

Ideal for dogs of all experience levels, Lake Sessions are as rewarding as they are fun—combining physical activity, confidence building, and one-on-one attention in a serene, natural setting.

Board and Train
(Non-Service Dog)

At Creating New Tails, every training program is customized to support your goals and your dog’s unique personality. Your dog will train in the same real-world settings we use for our service dogs—both indoors and outdoors—to build confidence and reliability in any environment.

Our Board & Train programs range from 10 to 28 days, depending on your dog’s needs and your desired outcomes. We offer: Basic and advanced obedience, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation, Competitive-level training.

All training is rooted in positive reinforcement, compassion, and professional expertise. We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, structured environment where dogs feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed.

Doggy Daycare

Our Doggy Daycare Program offers your dog more than just a place to stay—it provides a full day of enrichment, play, and socialization in a safe, loving environment.

Unlike traditional kennels, your dog will enjoy free roam throughout the day, with plenty of time to socialize with other friendly, temperament-tested dogs. Supervised group play ensures a fun and safe experience for every pup.

Your dog’s day will include: Indoor and outdoor playtime, Access to a spacious, fenced backyard for exercise and exploration, Monitored socialization tailored to your dog’s comfort and energy level, Optional overnight stays in a cozy, home-style environment—no kennels, ever, Professional grooming services available during their stay (additional cost).

Whether you need care for a day or a few nights, our daycare is designed to keep your dog happy, active, and cared for like family.

Private Sessions

Led by owner and head trainer Jillian, our private training sessions are designed to support you and your dog through every stage of development. Jillian provides expert instruction in public access training, basic and advanced obedience, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation, and service dog commands.

Each session lasts approximately one hour, with personalized guidance tailored to your dog’s progress and your specific goals.

To get the most out of your training, we recommend that dog owners practice 4–5 times per week between sessions. Consistent reinforcement at home is key to long-term success and helps strengthen the bond between you and your dog.

Owner Training

At Creating New Tails, we believe a well-trained dog is only part of the equation—an educated owner completes the team. Our Owner Training sessions are designed to ensure everything your dog has learned with Jill transfers seamlessly into your home and daily life.

These private, one-on-one sessions focus on: Public access training, Basic and advanced obedience, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation, Service dog task commands.

Whether you're working with a pet companion or a service dog, Jill will guide you through each command and handling technique, building your confidence and deepening your bond with your dog.

Every dog trained by Jill is carefully prepared to succeed beyond the training environment. Through these personalized sessions, we ensure a smooth transition from trainer to owner, so you and your dog continue growing together with clarity, structure, and trust.
